Only two new ones, but I'm writing up the Montgomery Gentry as well because I confused myself several weeks ago when one Montgomery Gentry track was rising and another was falling and I rated the wrong one.
Pussycat Dolls "I Hate This Part": The piano is dreamy and distracted while the voice is focused, the relationship is disintegrating, and the narrator focuses on the disintegration. TICK.
Pink "Sober": Brooding about her place, or her lack of it, for the 50th time. Doesn't know how to live high, doesn't know how to come down. Obvious, but touching. TICK.
Montgomery Gentry "Roll With Me": Troy is taking stock, but also taking life as it comes, inviting you to roll (roll along, roll in the hay) with him. Not one of their great songs, but a pleasant little stroll and a pleasant invitation. TICK.
