How do I print my livejournal?

When I try to print my livejournal on paper I lose about six lines at the changeover from one page to the next. Do you know what I can do about this? I'm on Windows XP, and Internet Explorer is my browser, if that has anything to do with it. (And no, I'm not going to change my browser to do this. Might change it sometimes for other reasons, but not just to see if I can get my livejournal pages to print better.)

Livejournal's help doesn't seem to have anything to say on the subject.

i get this on one of the office printers but not the other (though generally i'm using firefox): i think it's probably a printer setting issue of some sort (such as A4 vs US letter)
a: can you print pages out at 90% size? (probably in "page set-up")
b: does it make a difference if you put headings or the like on the pager foot (eg the url) -- this is definitely a printer setting in firefox
c: it might be worth experimenting on other browsers

c: oops, sorry, i somehow overlooked your declaration you weren't going to change browsers just for this -- i switch between safari and firefox all the time, because they fall over for different reasons)
