In yesterday's blogpost, Paul Krugman cites (and links to) my brother. And Mark Thoma not only links him, but quotes almost the whole piece.

NO labels on axis, what's X? trillions? increase in spending?

very shoddy, 2/10.

It's "rate of increase of 4REAL spending", so I imagine it's percent.

AK: "It doesn't even say T. Rex!" (A comment made by a staffer at a British music paper, I think it was the NME, when looking at a picture of one of the Manic Street Preachers, who, when asked if the band were "for real," sliced "4 real" into his arm with a razorblade. This is something that none of the ordinary language philosophers ever did, to the best of my knowledge.) (Here is a joke that I learned from Frank: How did the postmodernist freeze to death? He went to the drive-in to see "Closed for Winter.")

Awesome, and a great piece. I am currently struggling with trying to understand the federal budget for an experiment I'm doing, and man, it is a BEAR.
