Also, the Dead Lester thread is getting close to where LiveJournal does that horrible thing of collapsing subthreads on us, so if you have any more responses to what's on that thread, I suggest you do so on this one.

See my apology above to Katherine. I'll say in addition that my original Dead Lester post wasn't the least angry thing ever written, and its contentiousness and opaqueness probably has to do with the tone of any contentiousness that followed. (A friend of mine said that the Dead Lester post seemed a bit like trolling. I replied, "Maybe more than a bit.")

As for when or if I intend to elaborate on that original post: I don't know.
