You don't mean "Quakers" (several of whom were my favorite friends in high school and one of whom had an "Up Against The Wall Motherfuckers!" poster in his bedroom) but "Amish" or "Mennonites." I don't know much about it, but my guess is that it'd be a tiny minority of yeshivas that try to shield kids from popular culture. At any rate, if any institution has tried to shield mcatzilut from pop culture, it's done a poor job of it (perhaps the effort subverted by his associating with his mom).

Yes, badly spoken on my part. Instead of Orthodox I should've said Hasidic. Dudes with the big furry hats who think it's 16th-century Poland.
