Or are you asking "Can one - e.g., dubdobdee - go back and 'tag' things?" The answer is yes you can.

(But I don't know how one makes use of tags across livejournals and communities, if that's what you mean. One can call forth all the "ddr" in koganbot and all the "ddr" in poptimists, but one can't call 'em up together, can one?)

I don't think LJ is set up to do this. For one thing if we tried to call up the DDR tag we would end up with a lot of posts on "Dance Dance Revolution".

One idea might be to set up a DDR community with an info page that has a list of links to related posts on it,

Well, too soon to set up a community, as interest needs a chance to flag.

I was more suggesting it just as a way to link to posts via the front page, rather than as something joinable and postable-to. Of course any webspace would be fine for this, but so far most of the discussion seems to be on LJ.
