i always thort it was 'half an hour w/two broken legs' -your version makes much more sense.

i learnt to rap to this song and consequently it will always hold a special place in my heart. i was only twelve when it came out and didn't really think about the lyrics but when I heard it a few months ago i was really shocked at how far they go and how much is got away with for something that was all over mainstream radio. well done the 'nem & dre.

I actually had to check the lyrics sites to come up with "hoppin' out," since it does sound just as much like "half an hour." But "hoppin' out" makes more sense.
