These are the eleven lyrics that no one identified last time, now with second line added and hints made broader. RULES still are to identify the song and performer, no googling. Song titles and other obvious spoilers are replaced with characters on TV detective shows.

1. "Hey Mo, let's go [inaudible] that go, that go, that go, who put this shit together? Me, that's who. I started this hyphy shit, it's the motherfuckin' thanks I get, for keepin' it lit." If the words "That go" and "hyphy" don't give the performer away, you don't know who he is. But you probably won't get this anyway, since it's just an album track.

4. "A scream, a shout far in the distance, maybe the first or second floor. Curtains coloring the windows. Never see behind closed doors" Pope derider on vocals Asian Dub Foundation f. Sinead O'Connor (or vice versa) "1,000 Mirrors," identified by [livejournal.com profile] braisedbywolves

6. "I must look like a fool, here in the middle of the road, standing there in your rear view, and gettin' soaked to the bone" Country dude, self-professed leaver, gets left; made my 2006 country singles ballot Dierks Bentley, "Settle For A Slowdown," identified by [livejournal.com profile] justfanoe

9. "You don't need a T.C. CALVIN, I got bruises you can't see, and when the lights go out I won't be around, you don't need a T.C. CALVIN" Country cutie who likes fire and guns is in a sad mood. Little-known bonus track.

11. "Leave your dishes in the sink, leave the ice cubes in your drink, just FRANK CANNON. Leave your coat behind the door, leave your laundry on the floor, just FRANK CANNON" Pop singer invades the country market. And you HAVE to at least have figured out who this is from my previous hint: "this song and the previous song [track ten: go back and see who did it] constitute one of the rare instances where this person's track is better than person #10's track." Made my country critics top ten last year. Another hint: this is not Shaniah Twain. Jessica Simpson "Come On Over," identified by [livejournal.com profile] skyecaptain

13. "Stone cold sober, 'bout to get knocked out (are you ready for me?), wanna party hard, wanna get real loud (tonight I'm feelin' sexy!). A girl over there damn near passed out (I know you're watching me, baby), that's what happens when you're in the crowd" The track #11 woman, pre-country; album track produced by Scott Storch

15. "RICK WRIGHT, RICK real long WRIGHT" [repeated a whole hunk of times until 1:15 in] And I can make you [try?], and I can make you [try?]" Female performer, misspeller, well-loved on [livejournal.com profile] poptimists, but bonus track

16. "Now this here's the bom diggy diggy, diggy dang the Don's with me, killa, he'll kill a nigga, ya think about harmin' me. Capo's corrupted, he's the wrong vato to fuck wi'" Recorded when the crew was tight; they're now feuding, while second fiddle is the one who's moving the units.

18. "This one is for LANCE WHITE, there's some money to be made, there's some bitches to be laid, hurry up I gotta get paid." (4x) "In California (California), in NYC (NYC), there is the stare, from everywhere, not to compare" They're being satirical. Album track by hip-hop group who got favorable [livejournal.com profile] poptimists attention last year. The Knux "Playboys," identified by [livejournal.com profile] hipsterdetritus

19. "Ahh ahh ahh ahh ahh ahh JIM ROCKFORD JIM ROCKFORD JIM ROCKFORD JIM ROCKFORD JIM ROCKFORD JIM ROCKFORD, in a middle of the night with a hella sarcastic grin you ask me to innovate, with the most creative, make you call the birds" Same group as #18, still not taking themselves seriously. Eeriness at start recalls a Deep Purple track by the same name.

20. "Is it too late, nothing to salvage; you look away, clear all the damage. In meaning to, our words of love has disappeared." Duo, once known for having their respective brains occupied by each other's words, are wondering now if their relationship is one of amity or enmity.

I knew #1 is Keak da Sneak, I just have no idea what song it is. Probably not "That Go," but probably something off of last year's album, which I don't have on my comp anymore. Also know that #9 is Miranda Lambert but don't know the song. Suspect that both #11 and #13 are Jessica Simpson, and that #11 is "Come on Over." Is #13 "Push the Tush"? I don't remember how that one starts.

Suspect 18 and 19 are both Knux, but don't know the tracks.

18 is "Roxanne," I think (looking at the tracklist, dunno if that counts as cheating).
