Date: 2015-01-03 01:41 pm (UTC)I'm also not the only person to notice that "Chick Chick" sounds remarkably like T-ara's "Bo Peep Bo Peep" And Wang Rong's "Holiday" rips off 4minute's "Hot Issue".
Meanwhile, I learn that Time magazine has annointed Jolin Tsai's "Play" as possibly the best music video of the year. (The lyrics diss a variety of posturing twits ranging from gym rats to arthouse film hipsters and retro idol fans.)
Talking of idols, Crayon Pop will return in February with a song produced by Shinsadong Tiger. Chrome's CEO said that he was inspired to start a idol group after seeing T-ara perform "Roly Poly" -- which was produced by Shinsadong Tiger (as were those songs that Wang Rong ripped off).
