Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to dance to it

After our retro '90s discussion on poptimists, I had this thought: Over the last 25 years my attention to the techno-house-electronic-dance neighborhood has been so sporadic that none of it sounds old hat. Only Italodisco and freestyle seem locked in time for me. The revival of anything else in that category probably won't hit me as a revival.
