Pretty Good Decade
Sep. 21st, 2009 06:33 amGood song, funny song, nerve-racking song, so it makes perfect sense that "Junior Spesh" would be in someone's Top 200 songs of the decade; what I want to point out is that it didn't even make my Top 60 singles of the year (which means it might not have made my Top 100 songs of the year had I made one).
Pretty good decade.
P.S., in regard to Saturday's Joni Mitchell convo, that afternoon I returned Martina McBride's Shine to the local branch library and borrowed Joni Mitchell's Shine in its place. (Prefer the McBride by a long shot, so far, though I think if I listen to the Joni album from the rhythm up I may find my way into it better than by reading the lyrics to the second song and then doing the dishes while the album plays in the background.)
