Typical Denver weather pattern

Yesterday it was 60 degrees Fahrenheit (16 degrees Celsius) and I was walking around outside in my shirtsleeves. Today it is 3 degrees Fahrenheit (16 degrees below zero Celsius) and I haven't left my apartment.
