Posting a couple of days late again, and my usual excuse of being too busy won't wash, since - though I was busy - only one new song charted. What happened is I gave myself two extra days to fruitlessly ponder what to say about Jason Aldean, who is perhaps the person in the world I have the least to say about.
Jason Aldean "She's Country": Banjo plinks leading into metal riffs, a tack that's no big deal in country ever since Big & Rich began scoring hits. Makes for a pretty good crunching dance track here, with Jason being a half competent nonentity on vocals, mouthing platitudes in a hapless attempt to affirm to members of his audience that they're not dead inside. BORDERLINE NONTICK.
