La La La

Turns out that Da' Zoo's "La La La (Hot Girls)" is 2011; too bad, since in my heart Da' Zoo was vanquishing Snoop Lion and Kreayshawn in the La La La Wars.

So this'll lift Big Bang's "Blue" into my top 75, though RaNia's "Style" is poised to jump in (at higher than 75), after I give it a few more listens.

(Interesting story about "Style," since in effect it's a YG production, even though it's on another label: Yang Goon is the executive producer, and the track itself was written, arranged and produced by YG artist Tablo and long-time YG songwriter Choi Pil Kang; the latter's credits include work for Seungri and Big Bang and DJ DOC. Allkpop: "It has been revealed that this project has been done out of honor as RaNia's agency had once helped out Yang Hyun Suk* during his beginning stages of YG Entertainment, when he was on the verge of bankruptcy with the lackluster results with his first group Keep Six. RaNia's agency's CEO had reached out a helping hand at the time to Yang Hyun Suk by lending him a room at their agency." (Not sure which agency that would be; quite possibly Yedang Entertainment, but Wikip also lists DR Music and Irving Entertainment under "label.")

*A.k.a. Yang Goon.
