Xhuxk turned me on to K'Naan and "I'm On a Boat", via different internet sites (and unbeknownst to him). In my P/J comments I recommended that they include everybody's gatekeeper for every song and album. I don't know what that'd tell us about the biz, but it'd be interesting if nothing else.
"Me Neither" IS good; I like Paisley's ballads too, but then I'm a sap who voted for "Then". I'm not sure if he writes with as much specificity as Taylor, but "If I Could Write a Letter To Me," for instance, has lots of clever plays on the phrase that always seem unexpected. His tunes usually make me smile, except that boring "Whiskey Lullaby," which I tend to phase out as soon as I hear it.
