Hilary adrift in the atmosphere
New Hilary Duff single, "Any Other Day," seems like another attempt to ignore the U.S. market: is a Euromood piece w/ midtempo beats; the words can play as either optimistic or ominous; voice has even less weight than usual, drifts in the mood, sounding imperiled. I like this, despite Hilary's weakness as a singer.
(Would probably sound better sung by Paris, more authoritative, though probably less imperiled. It'd fit t.A.T.u. as well.)
